In an international industrial group, employees used freely available AI services for translations, summaries, and research. No one could track which contracts, prices, or personnel data were leaving the company as a result. A ban would have merely driven the use of these services into the shadows of IT. The company was looking for a secure alternative that worked just as easily.
The AI Hub brings together five verified core applications on the intranet and in Microsoft Teams: document translation, contract comparison, summarization of long documents, web research with cited sources, and a wizard for internal policies. All applications are based on Microsoft Copilot Studio and run in the company’s own cloud environment. This includes centralized login, permissions by group and company, data storage within the EU, and comprehensive logging. No models are trained using company data. A specialized glossary ensures consistent terminology across all languages. A cost simulation feature for each department is also planned.
