The 14 experts, previously known as VAMED IT and thus part of the VAMED Group, the global market leaders in healthcare ecosystem management, have already implemented over 200 software solutions in more than 60 countries worldwide. With its expertise in the healthcare sector, SPG Healthcare complements the Group’s portfolio and further advances SPG’s growth strategy. SPG Healthcare has extensive (process) know-how in the areas of hospital information systems, patient administration, healthcare ERPs, patient portals, laboratories and pharmacy, among others.
This synergy promotes innovative cross-sector transformation solutions. Resources and expertise are pooled and existing VAMED IT teams are integrated into the SPG setting. As a result, existing customers will benefit from familiar and new services from both companies. The acquisition has laid the foundation for new forward-looking projects that will shape the digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
